MC 255 with built-in resistors

MC 255 is a universal magnetic contact in a compact format with NC function and built-in resistors for balanced loops. It can be used in both alarm and security systems to protect doors, gates, and windows against unauthorized opening. The built-in resistors save significant installation time by reducing the number of connection points in the junction box, thereby minimizing potential sources of error. The magnetic contact can also be connected directly to the control panel, eliminating the need for a junction box. You can choose between having only a parallel resistor across the reed contact or having both a parallel resistor and a series resistor mounted inside the contact.

It features a rotating screw that protects the cable from mechanical stress in confined installation spaces. Both the contact and magnet parts are made of metal and designed as threaded screws, allowing easy installation in wood or plastic. MC 255 is fully encapsulated with an IP67 protection rating. A wide range of accessories enables installation in many different ways, including on magnetic materials such as steel doors.
