MC Bracket Kit

The MC Bracket kit facilitates the assembly of magnetic contacts free from the door mechanics but with a maintained and safe contact function instead of what was common in the past to mount a contact part on the floor where it is easily exposed to careless handling. An additional reason for finding alternative mounting locations is the increased demand for high-security contacts that require a greater opportunity to adjust the devices.

To facilitate the assembly of magnetic contacts on industrial overhead doors and the like, Alarmtech has developed a kit consisting of three mounting brackets and a locking unit which, together with the optional MC 200 magnetic contact set, makes the installation easier and more flexible. Regardless of whether you use regular or high-security connectors, the MC Bracket kit helps you adjust and mount the connectors safely and securely.

Mounting

With the MC Bracket kit, the magnetic contacts can be mounted in a safe place but with continued safe function. It is not set in stone how the magnetic contacts are to be mounted, but with the help of the bracket kit you have more options to find a safe mounting location. Our suggestion, which is just a suggestion, is to use the bracket kit to mount the magnetic contacts to the side of the door free of all mechanics and the like. In the pictures below, the kit is mounted about 50 centimeters up from the floor next to the guide for the gate rollers to avoid the locking mechanism and other functions important to the gate.
